Beta Product Advantages

• The large clear span buildings needed for the more practical or “space hungry” educational and vocational subjects are delivered quickly and easily by the Beta system. Most importantly the system compares extremely favourably with “bricks and mortar” traditional building costs, often achieving major savings.
  
  
• With portal widths from 10 to 30 metres, lengths up to 100 metres and eave heights up to 6 metres, as well as being an ideal answer for the storage of maintenance and sports equipment, Beta structures can house any practical activity from traditional metal and wood working to the more vocational bricklaying, mechanics and engineering subjects.
  
  
• The heavy duty membrane roofing system delivers near daylight conditions internally throughout the building, saving lighting costs and providing an ideal environment for both work and study. The Beta range is available in both insulated and un-insulated versions to suit the users needs. Security concerns are solved by employing our standard steel panelled walls complete with a range of secure personnel doors and steel roller shutters for easy access by larger loads.
  
  
• Although perfectly suited to remain in one place indefinitely, as with all our other structures, the Beta building envelope has the added bonus of being fully relocatable and expandable and therefore able to meet your unknown future requirements - be they for more space on your existing site or even to move your facility to a completely different site!
  
  
• As the Beta system does not need traditional foundations, an existing area, such as a tarmac playground can be built over with only the provision of concrete bases (or simply duck-bill anchors) every 5 metres to secure the building –representing a further significant cost saving over traditional foundation solutions.
  
  
• All Useful Structures Beta buildings bring the added assurance of being designed in conformity to BS6399 – the only British Standard that should be employed for any structure in place for over 28 days. This means that the building is engineered and calculated to exactly the same wind and snow loadings as a traditional building.
