Fixings, bracing cables, baseplates, reinforcement members

Anchoring

Usually by M20/170HAS rods into a pre-prepared concrete base using HVU Adhesive

Tested post installation to ensure that necessary loadings are achieved - BS6399

Design resistance of 62.9kN tensile load and 54.0kN shear load per rod

Where fixing by HAS rods and HVU Adhesive is not possible, a number of different anchoring methods are available – all tested to ensure that the requirements of BS6399 are met.

Installation

Stage 1 - Base plates anchored

1. Base plates anchored to the ground using chemical bolts and flooring assembled.

Stage 2 - Roof assembled

2. Roof assembled on the ground removing the need and hazard of working at height

Stage 3 - Legs attached

3. Legs attached then roof and frame lifted by
crane

Stage 4 - Legs and counterbracing secured to base plates

4. Legs and counterbracing secured to base plates

Stage 5 - Glazing, cladding and doors fitted
