Case Study - Project Centro Northampton
Marketing Suite for Kings Oak Homes, Milton Keynes Region

Dateline May 2005
Site Centro Development, Northampton
Overview To design and supply a relocatable building to house sales function with fully fitted and functioning WC and kitchenette for staff use. Two storey height required to maximise presence with contemporary design to distinguish from other sellers in the area – a “cabin” does not send the right message to potential buyers
Required Lead Time 12 weeks to commence on site – immediate use after installation.
Other Issues Site very restricted with just 3.5m between much used town centre public pavement and construction area.
Objective To achieve “traffic stopping” presence in busy town centre and promote the modern, aspirational values of the development.
ResuIts
- Concept designed from scratch to redefine the small property sales centre
- 10m x 3.5m x 6.0m high size fits exactly into available space
- Two storey height gives sufficient space for sales function, development models, kitchen and bathroom displays
- Building fully compliant to building regulation
- Completely off site constructed, arriving with working WC and kitchenette, lighting, heating, air conditioning, electrical and phone sockets to client specification.
- Fully retracting roller shutter gives night time and week-end protection and security without compromising aesthetics during operating hours
Client Endorsement “Your new LANDMARK system has achieved all my objectives and provides a truly eye-catching ‘shop window’ to our Centro Development. Prospective buyers immediately understand our high quality ethos and the additional ‘wow factor’ it delivers is already proving a great success”.
